So...ich bin dann mal weg.
Bisher hat es zwar nur für einen kleinen Katzensprung nach Zürich gereicht aber ich bin schon mal unterwegs. Der Landeanflug hier war echt schön, denn der 1.August ist wohl irgendwie ein Feiertag in der Schweiz und so konnte ich beim Landeanflug wunderschöne Feuerwerke aus der Luft ansehen. Sehr ungewöhnliche aber echt empfehlenswerte Perspektive =)
Jetzt heißt es aber erstmal warten warten warten...und dann gehts endlich nach New York!!! =)))
Kaum zu glauben, dass ich nun nach über 3 Jahren seit meinem Au pair Jahr das nächste große Abenteuer ansteuere und dabei zuallererst in meiner geliebten 2. Heimat lande ;-)
So, ich werde es jetzt den ganzen Backpackern gleich tun und mal die Gemütlichkeit einer Flughafenwartebank austesten.

So...I´m already gone.
So far I didn´t get much further than a stone´s throw but I am on my way, at least. Coming in to the airport was very beautiful though. Apparently the 1st of August is a holiday in Switzerland and so I got to watch fireworks from up in the air. What a very interesting and beautiful perspective ;-) Now the only thing that I can do is wait, wait, wait...until I finally set off for the glorious concrete jungle where dreams are made of-New York City! It´s unbelievable I am starting my new adventure 3 years after my au pair year by coming home to the US first. What an incredible feeling!
However,, for now I´ve got a whole night to spend at the airport in Zurich, Switzerland and I think I´ll just do what all the backpackers are doing here-sleep on a very comfortable bench at the terminal ;-) Good night!!!
